Some years ago, when the
MX5 was first introduced to the UK, we were contracted by
Mazda UK to develop and produce a turbocharger kit for the
car.
The kit had to be of the
utmost quality, as it had to carry a manufacturer’s
3 year warranty. It also had to pass stringent reliability
and emissions tests to enable it to be fitted as original
equipment BUT most of all, it had to make the car GO!
Well, we did all that
and so began our long association with this great little
car which continues to the present day.
In fact, we built over
850 of those kits and it wasn’t so long ago that we
sold the original test car, having done over 100,000 Km,
including all the endurance testing and press road tests.
And it never missed a beat.
If you have an MX5, of
any vintage, we are THE specialists. We know these vehicles
inside out, both mechanically and electronically. We still
service and maintain many of the original turbo conversions
and we are adding new conversions to the list all the time.
